No picks at all
Every other format asks for a decision every week. This one asks for nothing after the draw, which means there is no way to fall behind by forgetting and no way for a player to quietly stop playing. People who have never completed a pick sheet in their life stay in this pool to the last week.
What it replaces skill with is a number to watch. A team on 30 going into the fourth quarter turns an ordinary game into something you cannot look away from, and a meaningless late field goal becomes the best or worst thing that has happened all month.
How it is scored
An exact 33 wins the week outright. Otherwise the week goes to whichever team landed closest to it, and the pool tracks how far each team has been off across the season, so a team that is consistently near the number is worth something even if it never quite lands.
