Every game is in play
An NFL week is small enough to take whole. There is no slate to choose and nothing left out: a Pick’Em pool puts the full schedule in front of every player, a Survivor pick can be any team on the board, and a Margin pool lets you back whichever of the sixteen or so games you think is the biggest mismatch.
That is not true of every league, and it is why the NFL offers two formats nothing else does. Margin only works when a team plays once a week, because otherwise there is no single number to bank. Thirty Three needs the same thing.
The week runs itself
Scores arrive off the live feed, so nobody types a result into a spreadsheet. Picks grade themselves as games go final, standings move on their own, and the commissioner finds out who won at the same time as everyone else.
Picks lock at kickoff, game by game, so an early Thursday pick is committed while the Sunday games are still open. Nobody has to collect anything by a deadline, and nobody can quietly change a pick after a result.
The money stays between you
Payment tracking and payout splits are built in. Players pay the commissioner directly — the money never passes through Poolr — and the pool keeps a record of who has settled up so nobody has to chase it in a group chat.
